Parent & Child classes
From 2 months old to 3.5 years old
ALL PARENT & CHILD CLASSES REQUIRE ONE ADULT IN THE WATER
AND LAST 30 MINUTES.
You are only young once! The earlier they start, the more confident, comfortable and safer your children will be in the water. Our parent and child program introduces children to swimming and water safety, and is a great parent/child bonding activity.
We use games, songs and activities to learn the fundamental skills of swimming: water confidence, submersion, floating and gliding (front and back), propulsion (kicking and paddling), safety skills.
The parent and child classes are grouped by age, to follow their growth and development. Each class has one teacher in the water, 5 or 6 children and one parent per child.
You can change parents during the term but we only accept one parent per class. All parents & child classes last 30 minutes.
All classes - with the exception of the Jellyfish level that are only happening during the week - are scheduled on WEEKDAYS and WEEKENDS. You will need to determine your child's level according to his/her age and then decide on a week or weekend lesson.

Price for lessons: 40 CHF/ lesson during the week & 45 CHF/lesson during the weekend. Your invoice will reflect the number of lesson that month.

Monthly subscription that is automatically renewed until you cancel. You have your own family account that you can check when you want.

Cancellation possible until the 20th of the previous month (you cancel by the 20th February for all lessons starting from the 1st March). You cancel by filling this cancellation form.

You can join whenever you want! You do not have to wait the end of a term to join our swim school.

JELLYFISH - Babies 2 to 6 months old - week classes only - One parent in the water.

For babies who have not swam with Red Whale before, aged 2 to 6 months old.

STARFISH / TADPOLE - Babies from 5 months to 13 months - One parent in the water. ​

SEAHORSE / FROG - Babies from 14 months to 23 months - One parent in the water. ​

​TURTLE - For this level, you need to have received the Turtle medal. Babies from 2 years old to 3.5 years old - One parent in the water.

For children who have swam with Red Whale before and have received the Turtle level, aged 2 to 3.5 years old.
